Taking on new builds

Custom bots that keep working after launch.

BotFoundry builds Discord, Telegram and Slack bots: moderation, ticketing, payments, dashboards and AI assistants. We host and maintain what we ship, so the team that wrote it is the team that keeps it running.

01 / Log

What's changed lately

Releases, availability and studio notices. Newest first.

12 Oct 2026Release

Two build slots left before January

We have room for two more bot builds this quarter. Starter builds are landing in two to three weeks; full platforms are booking into the new year.

28 Sep 2026Update

Stripe subscriptions are now built in

Recurring billing, plan upgrades and failed-payment recovery are now part of our standard Discord stack, so paid roles and licence keys stay in sync on their own.

05 Sep 2026Notice

Support hours over the winter break

Retainer clients keep the on-call channel throughout. Project enquiries sent between 24 December and 2 January may take a little longer than usual.

02 / Capabilities

Everything from a two-week build to a platform you keep for years.

One team for scoping, engineering, hosting and support. Nothing gets handed to a third party halfway through.

01

Discord bots

Moderation, tickets, economy, levels, verification and slash-command suites. Written to hold up at real member counts.

02

Telegram & Slack

Order flows, alerts, approvals and internal tooling, inside the chat apps your team already has open all day.

03

AI & LLM agents

Retrieval-backed assistants, ticket triage and content pipelines running on the models you already pay for.

04

Integrations & APIs

Stripe, Shopify, Notion, Google Sheets, CRMs and in-house APIs, all kept in step from one bot.

05

Dashboards

Web panels for config, analytics and support tickets, so nobody has to hand-edit a config file again.

06

Hosting & upkeep

Managed deploys, monitoring, backups and alerting. If it breaks at 3am, that part is ours to fix.

03 / Process

How a build actually runs

Four stages. You see working software at the end of each one.

  1. 01

    Scope

A call and a written spec. We map the workflows, the edge cases and what finished looks like.

  2. 02

    Design

Command structure, data model and permissions. You approve it before production code starts.

  3. 03

    Build

Working sprints with a staging bot you can poke at daily. Shared repo the whole way.

  4. 04

    Launch

We deploy it, monitor it and stay on the support channel afterwards.

04 / FAQ

Questions we get

Do you only build new bots?

Both. About half our work is taking over a bot someone else started, stabilising it and extending it. Send the repo or a description and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth rescuing.

Who owns the code?

You do. Final payment gets you the repository, the documentation and the environment setup. No licence fees on your own project.

How long does a build take?

Starter builds run two to three weeks. Full platforms run six to ten, depending on integrations and how quickly decisions get made on your side.

Can you host and maintain it?

Yes. We can run it on our infrastructure with monitoring and backups, or on your own cloud account if you'd rather keep everything in-house.

Do AI features need our own API keys?

You can bring your own keys for full cost transparency, or we can bundle model usage into a retainer. We'll tell you which works out cheaper at your volume.

05 / Contact

Tell us what the bot needs to do.

Plain English is fine, no spec required. Send the workflow and you'll get back questions, a rough shape and a ballpark.
